This is my new desktop background. It's pretty great.
Thesis
The best thing to do when you're sick is pretend to be a cowboy. Well, that's the approach I've taken these past two days. Red Dead Redemption has been my medicine of choice, supplementing a steady intake of MucinexD and some antibiotics. Unfortunately, I remain couch-bound.
This is lame for two reasons,
> 01. I can't hang out with my friends.
> 02. I feel bad.
So, the blogosphere is my home. Sweet Tokyo The Cat is keeping me company too. Boardwalk Empire has served as a nice distraction as well. Also,
+ Instead of including a poem at the end of every post, I might just include a quote or a fact or a drawing or some sort of Fun Thing. Yup.
Fun Things
I've noticed a sharp decline in the quality of my vocabulary. It has corresponded with a weird amount of memory loss. I can only hope these issues are unrelated, and not caused by some terrible mental disorder. Working thesis is that it's the result of a lot of Reddit-reading and not a lot of novel-reading. My brain is just out of shape at the moment. Once the semester gets fired up, and I'm throwing it into overload, maybe I'll be more eloquent.
For now, though, I'm just dum and sick lololol
THE PLAN
THIS SEMESTER
> WORK OUT
> READ FOR FUN
> DRAW MORE
> RECORD MUSIC
> SLEEP MORE
> PROCRASTINATE LESS
> WRITE MONTHLY MUSIC REVIEWS
> BE MORE RESPONSIBLE
> BECOME PERFECT
Um
I probably won't write an interesting blog post until the Oscars. That'll be fun.
Moving back into the dorms tomorrow (provided my health is up to the task). Second semester begins on Monday. I can't say I'm totally excited. It means stress. But it also means company and direction. I can dig it.
Conclusions
See you around! I'm going to play videogames and watch television. And get better.
I totally saw The Music Tapes two nights ago. They didn't play this song, but this is the one I've been watching for a couple years.
