Uh Oh, Uh Oh

Thesis
Times are tough. Due to an extended stay in Chicago (the concert was excellent), I was unable to go to work. This would've freed up time to do my reading and work on papers, but other things (food, sleepiness) got in the way. Now, I am blogging in a hopeless effort to strengthen my mental capabilities. The hour will simply not allow it.

Fun
I had lots of it this weekend. Sara, Andrew, and Drew rode in my car to Chicago. Andrew, Will, and Drew rode in my car to Bloomington. Between these rides I saw my lovely friend Hayley - young and silly townie turned film icon at Northwestern - who provided bedding and company and a great reunion.

LEAKS
Sufjan Stevens' The Age Of Adz. I must listen to it. Note - I must also read quite a lot before going to bed. It would seem that time is leaking away.

Conclusions
I suppose I should get back to reading. A Short History Of Women, by Kate Walbert. A noticeable Virginia Woolf influence, which I'm always fond of. It is the third in a row of non-linear, multi-perspective historical family dramas being read for my 21st Century American Fiction class. I wouldn't mind some more variety in the reading. Or at least the sequencing of novels. Who is this guy? And, who am I? A Reader.
